Dr. Matt McCary is a seasoned leader with over 20 years of information technology experience and more than a decade in aerospace and defense manufacturing. Renowned for his expertise in digital transformation and employee engagement, Dr. McCary excels at driving organizational excellence by integrating advanced technologies with talent and culture transformation.

As Division Delivery Lead for Digital Transformation, Matt spearheaded enterprise-wide initiatives across two critical Northrop Grumman divisions. The Networked Information Solutions Division (NISD) delivers advanced networking technologies, cybersecurity, and information assurance solutions to the Department of Defense and global allies, supporting secure, resilient mission-critical communications. Concurrently, the Navigation, Targeting, and Survivability (NTS) Division develops and integrates cutting-edge systems that enhances the survivability and effectiveness of military platforms and weapons. This includes advanced navigation, targeting, and self-protection technologies such as radar warning receivers, electronic warfare systems, infrared countermeasures, and platforms like the Next Generation Handheld Targeting System (NGHTS) and the Common Infrared Countermeasures system for the Marine Corps.

Within these divisions, Dr. McCary led the integration of generative AI, automation, digital workflows, and simulation technology to standardize and modernize capabilities across multiple portfolios and over 20 sites nationwide. His leadership drove streamlined manufacturing and IT operations, enhanced secure information exchange, and accelerated innovation in critical defense technologies.

Dr. McCary’s strategic talent management approach elevated employee engagement and productivity while aligning workforce capabilities with rapid technological evolution. Initiatives under his guidance achieved zero turnover and raised employee satisfaction above 90%, fostering a high-performance culture that sustained operational excellence and organizational agility.
